Can someone explain to me the difference between using the "scgi-bin" directory and regular "cgi-bin". Pros cons?

Are you just referring to how you name the directory or is scgi-bin something special your host provides?

If it's just a matter of the name of the directory it shouldn't make a difference unless your host provider only allows you to run scripts from the "cgi-bin" directory only.

The scgi-bin is a CPanel cgi-bin that uses a CGI-Wrapper to run cgi scripts under the domains username which is supposed to be more secure.
