Im using the mod "E X P O R T S E A R C H R E S U L T S Written by: D Mitchinson, Modified: 04 Oct 1999

and it work great exept for one little problem. If a feilds in the DB has a comma "eg the comment field" then it is treated and exported as a new column, is there away to fix this so when this mod see a comma it doesn't export to the csv file as a new column. The DB delimiter I use is a | between each field..

Example of a entry in the comment field

"Assigned a job number to this order and no work was done, I was concerned why no action was taken."

Any help would be great..

I recall that a cvs file has the option of a text field, which is text inside quotes. I think a cvs file will work fine with quoted text. Your next problem may be if your comments contains a quote.

I take it that the problem is not a problem until the file is imported into the spreadsheet. Might consider doing something different on the import.

Thanks Joematt that was my problem and it export correctly now..I removed the quotes from my DB file..
