You see that there are 4 hidden fields.

Two are date related and just for info
The other two atuomatically insert and record the Userid of
1. the person who initiated the record and
2. the person(s) who subsequently modify the record.

I can type my nick eg Seer into the Keyword Search (will match against all fields) and have records returned to me that I have modified, but not the records that I have initiated.

It is the records that I have initiated that I would also like to have displayed.

I believe I had this problem before I made the fields hidden

Many thanks

This sounds like it might have something to do with the setting $auth_view_own in the .cfg file. Do you have the $auth_user_field set to the field number of Mod UID and $auth_view_own=1?

The $auth_user_field=6 which is the Userid field.
and $auth_view_own=0

I need to have default users view the records without having access to modify them

I have posted my default.cfg file as well on
http://sugilite.virtualave.net/default.txt

Hope this helps ...

Again thanks
