This is a quick question for the Change Email modification... Is there a way to have the user change their eMail address without having the script create a new password? I have my system setup so that they are already logged in before they have the ability to change their eMail. I'm wondering why a new password has to be sent?
I'm using the send new password, change password, and change email modifications. (I was curious to know why I couldn't get the eMail address from the database, but came to understand that if we did, every new user would create a new database entry... Which is OK in my instance, but not for the majority of users...)
Is there something that I'm overlooking on why the script needs to change their password when changing their eMail address? Can't it just read the hashed password and replace it?
Thanks for any help on this!
