admin appearing in zip field

admin appearing in zip field
When I first enter a record in the database I get the word "admin" (I sign on with admin) appearing in my zip field.
If I subsequently modify the record with the correct zip the record in correct.
What am I doing wrong?

You need to set the $auth_user_field variable in the default.cfg file to -1 if you do NOT have a Userid field. If you have a Userid field, then you need to set that variable to the FIELD NUMBER of your Userid field!
