Hi there.

I am running a seperate database in my site for affiliates, Admin Will create the file and their will only be one record.

Once the file is created is there anyway that i can display this record imediately after the username and password have been entered.

PS if anyof you have tried to use the links program on a RAQ2 or have had problems with nhp files i have just posted a cure for this in the links forum.

So, let me get this straight...The admin creates records for each user and then the user logs in and has the ability to modify that record??

This has been discussed before in this Forum, however, I don't think anyone has come up with a viable solution.

BTW: It would be best to ask about LINKS in the LINKS Installation Forums.

No Admin creates the file and then as soon as they log in they see this file but nothing else. and dont have any permissions.

Just so it eliminates the search or view all.

I know that dual ownership of records has been discussed before. Basically, this what you will need in order for your request to work. Then you change the authorization permissions in .cfg file for this new database to be 1,0,0,0,0 for users, so that they can only view.
