Hi!
In one of my DBMan fields, I want users to enter the name of one or more countries and I want to ensure the country names are in standard format (eg, United States in place of US).
Now, if each user was to enter only one country name, I could simply make a select drop-down menu.
But some users will want to input a long series of countries in this one field. What I'm thinking is to get them to form a comma-separated list of country names (obviously, these usually being 1 or 2 words). Is there a modification that would check each word or series of words occurring between commas in the field input and validate it against a list I've specified in the .cfg file?
I'm thinking of providing a drop-down list of country names in standard format for reference. Taking this to its natural conclusion, I don't suppose there's a way of providing the drop-down list for users to select country names in turn, these then being formed into a comma-separated list before the user's eyes?
Look forward to hearing from anyone who might share their thoughts or mods...
TIA,
Andy
