Please forgive the question but I have been out of touch for some time, and the brain has gone a little fuzzy.

From a given list of text products displayed by db.cgi, I would like to be able to click on any item in the list and have the results displayed in a form text box on the same page.

For example from a list of products displayed, the customer would like to be able to have an update of chosen items sent to him by mail., so I would have a form on the results page, and each time a product is selected the results would be pasted onto one of the forms text box for him to add his other details, requesting and update or more information thereby saving them the time of typing in each items code requested.
Possibly a little jave script?

If anyone could point me in the right direction to facilitate this, it would be mush appreciated
