I have a database with only 30 records in it.

On the long view of a record (using the short\long mod) let's say it shows the data from a field like normal. What I would like is for dbman to be able to tell me how that field ranks against the other 29 records' data.

Example: It's a sports website. I have a field for TeamWins, with each of the 30 records having a value of 0 to 40 in that TeamWins field. When viewing a long view of a record my database already shows the "TeamWins" value, but beside it I would like what rank that record is in relation to the other records in the database for the TeamWins field.

Can I get some help with this? I've looked through the forum but cannot find anything. Thank you

In the DBMan FAQ in the category "Calculate" there's a thread called "Average the ratings of records" which might provide you some ideas of how to get what you want. You could try to modify this for the values you are looking for.

If not, check out some of the other threads in that category for ideas.
