...thinking out loud here. I'm wanting to turn my site into a member$hip site, but want to grandfather those already signed up. I've already got the add permission mod installed -- everyone has "member" access. What I'm thinking is to ween my alumni to a paid entry site by putting an expiration date on their record, where at such a date, determined by me, they'll "automatically" lose their "member" permission, less they pay the member$hip, and revert to default access.

This has prob been addressed before, just worded differently. If so, some search criteria? If not, is there a hack I can do? Or, what other method would someone suggest?
