I have used the code you gave to Hans-Peter for the random display. I am using your user-friendly-html.pl, short-long-display and the counter mod. I have done some very small modifications in html.pl for the display (some if - elsif-coding, all working perfectly)
The code for the random display crushes my database. What has happened is: my database file "default.db" has been set to 0 bytes.
I have also tried the second version using the "random.txt"-, but same result. Stored in random.txt is the actual date.
Can you help me? I really need a working random code.
