I am wanting to use REMOTE_USER only authentication with
1. All REMOTE_USER IDs getting automatically (1,1,1,1,0) permissions ( I do not wish to have a separate DBman password/permission file)
2. Author field set in the .db file
3. No DBman Login process (except by Basic Authentication)

What are the steps in doing this exactly?

I have tried many many combinations/customizations in html.pl auth.pl ?.cfg and db.cgi but keep getting "default" set in the ?.db file or null as being set as the user id in the hidden form fields.
