Question about the Delete option

Question about the Delete option
I'd like everyone who uses my database to have "admin" access, particularly to edit any records they wish, with one exception -- I'd like no one but myself to have the power to delete (someone could basically delete my entire database if they wanted).

I've bookmarked my entrance into the Admin access page -- could I just edit out the checkbox and link in the footers to Admin access to solve my problem? Or is there something I'm not considering?

Thanks!

The Admin permission is more for editing user accounts.

If you want to let every modify anything, why not just give them all Modify permissions? And if you don't want them deleting anything, just don't give them Delete permissions.

I completely misunderstood my authorization options apparently. I thought the only one which allowed everyone to modify ONLY lets them modify their own. And currently, that's how mine works. I'll try to figure out how to do give everyone modify everything authorization (but if you want to tell me, feel free ;-)

JPDeni has created a great tutorial for DBMan which includes a section on setting permissions. This includes a chart with various options and and explains how to use permissions.

I would highly suggest visiting her site so you can gain an understanding. Visit http://www.jpdeni.com/dbman/
