I have a question on how to restrict a login based on a permission that I have not been able to find the answer to if anyone can help.
I have a login on a static html page. On that login, I am looking for it to be accessible via this rule:
If permission VW is set to 1, allow login, if permission VW is set to 0, give an error that says on the main static page that you are not authorized to view this page/db, etc. The permission VW will be set manually for now when someone pays the extra amount to have this permission. I am assuming something needs to be changed in auth.pl since this is on a static page and doesnt use the html_login sub, but I know nothing about the auth.pl file or how to edit it.
