Hi all. I've searched the forum for stuff about my problem, and have come across a few things that were close but not quite. My problem is that sometimes my members forget their passwords, and so I was looking for a way to have their password sent to them. The password look up mod, however, sends them a new randomly generated password. I saw the posts between JPDeni and vampy about doing this, but with the passwords decrypted - is it possible to still be able to keep the passwords encrypted on the sever and then decrypt them when they are sent to the user (e-mail address) to which they belong to?

In a word, no.

Once text is encrypted it cannot be decrypted.
