Automatic email responce when database is modified in an exchange 2000 environment
I woluld like to be able to send an automatic email response when the database is modified. The forum covers sendmail but is there another approch for windows.

I could be wrong but I think you could use smtp or blat to send email. You could search the forums here for more information or check out the FAQ noted below (email section) for some examples of how to set up the email responses.
