I was using the dbman for my local icq list.
Last night my website suddenly got very high traffic (about 1500, not very high indeed) and they all use the dbman for serach icq users.
My isp told me that the program use much processor rescource and delete it as well as temporarily disable my FTP account.

I let my users the choice to view all records (about 1000) using the list all feature. Would this use more processor because most users will contineously turn to each page to view the records?

If i make it into small parts (the db.cgi into join.cgi and search.cgi) Can this reduce the use of processor?

Any other suggestion?
