I am trying to determine the size of links 2. Links2 installed on a server without links takes up how much space?

It's a small program (forget everything you know about Windows).

But, the database -- mysql -- consumes large amounts of space. If your ISP limits you on that, you'll have more problems than with the size of the program. SQL databases use more room than flat file databases (any relational database will).

Most ISP's have problems with the use of jump.cgi and/or the build process rather than space considerations.

Links SQL is a high-end product.
