I don't if you would consider doing this but could you create some additional form elements that would utilize DHTML. Example: Instead of having to type http://www.google.com, you would enter the url into the input box and click ok and that would automatically place the appropriate tags and link in this text box. It would just make things easier for those that don't know about, or don't care to investigate some of the custom tags.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I think it would make things alot easier.
