Would it be helpful to develop some online manuals for basic tasks?
I think they could be excellent supplements to the forum,
and screen shots would be the icing on your cake.
I know that these resources exist:
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/scripts/resources/DBMan/index.html
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/scripts/resources/Links_SQL/index.html
Here are two examples:
http://support.ub2k.com/manual/
http://www.blue-gecko.com/framecal/install.html
(these aren't my sites, just examples, and I'm sure GT could create some very helpful manuals).
It's difficult for new users to 'read the entire forum/relevant threads' and decipher what's necessary,
and these manuals would be a great place for a newer/less experienced user to start.
I know GT is extreemly busy, and I would be willing to assist in creating the screen shots to be used with the manuals, but I'd need the manuals to work off of. I'm sure others would be willing to create an outline and help add the content/steps/definitions, etc.
Thanks,
Leo
