Hi,
We are happy to announce the release of Gossamer Community 1.0.
Gossamer Community is a free program that provides a central login and user database for most of our applications. With Gossamer Community a user can get access to their web based email using Gossamer Mail, visit the forums using Gossamer Forum, add a resource to a Links SQL directory, subscribe to some mailings lists run by Gossamer List, or browse a database managed by DBMan SQL, all with the same username and without having to login multiple times.
It's been a long road, but we've now used Gossamer Community on several large sites comprising over 1 million users and over 10,000 logins daily!
New features since the last beta include:
* Support for Gossamer List
* Security Image (required GD support -- users must type in the contents of an image during signup)
* Detailed Signup and Login IP tracking
You can download version 1.0.0 and find out more about Gossamer Community at:
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/scripts/community/
If you have any questions, please contact us or post them in our Gossamer Community support forum.
Cheers,
Alex
