vBulletin Vs wwwthreads

vBulletin Vs wwwthreads
Hi all,

I have been searching around for the best BBS script. I have used UBB and Ultraboard, both of them can't really meet my demand.

What I am thinking is wwwthreads(the one you are using) and vBulletin (written in PHP, http://www.vbulletin.com/). Does anyone have experienced with the above scripts? Which one you think is better?

One thing I know, the performance for both of the scripts are very very good. But if you want to change the layout easily, I think vBulletin can have the advantage because it's written in PHP.

More and more people are tending to use WWWThreads. It loads fast...uses Perl to connect to the MySQL tables and has a lot of features.

But you will find that people have different opinions about the "best" message board script.
