Hi

Have a .tar archieve that is made so that all files will be extracted to the right folder and permissions set automatically when "tar xpvf name.tar" is given in Telnet. One problem...I didn´t make it, and now I want to change files inside this archive, and also the extraction path of this .tar, so I can send it out to my members.

Is there any dos/windowsprogram where I can spesify this, or how do I make/edit a tar otherwhise?

I am on a hosted server.

 To unzip .tar archives I use win zip 7. If that's what you need go to
