And when I went back to form to remove invalid reg-ex (to change column in Links database) it seemed that part of your reg ex escaped from the form field! wow Wink

it seems like the code is perhaps too sophisticated for the form field Wink

....it's not going to check for perfect formatting but without writing a huge long regex you will never get that.

I honestly wouldn't bother using it with Links SQL....but yes it should work as it was taken from the Email::Valid module....I may have made a copy/paste error though.
