online ordering

online ordering
My client would like to set up an online ordering system for his product. He doesn't need anything like "add to cart" or anything like that 'cuz he's selling pre-fab websites and the user would just check a checkbox to identify which site they want. Then it would go to an secure order form and go from there. The main site is hosted on Vservers and they offer Miva Merchant but its like $500 and my client doesn't need all of those functions. If anyone has any ideas for an easier way to do this, let me know.

Thanks.

Hi Jason,

Sorry, the brain's a little befuddled this morning (oooh, I'll never drink again! Smile), but wouldn't a simple mailform script do the job? Or are you looking for someone to build something appropriate into the site for you (i.e. to the style of the site)?

I suppose that a simple mail form would work. Here's what I was thinking - there is a page called "view websites" where there are screenhots of each site that link to the actual site in a new window. I would like to add a checkbox beside the screenshots and have a button on the bottom of the page saying "order" or something like that. Then it would go to the terms of use page, the user would have to agree to the terms then they go to the order form, fill it out with pertinent info and send it securely as there will be visa, chequing info on the form.

I have no problem working the HTML aspect of this however I just need some input or a script that could do such a thing. My client would, of course, pay for services rendered.

Thanks. Any help is appreciated.
