good book on perl?
I've become more interested in CGI/perl scripting and would like to find a good (read: easy for a beginner to understand) reference book on how to do it. Anyone have a suggestion?

Your best bets would be Programming Perl and Learning Perl, both from O'reilly & Associates.

Although don't get Programming Perl unless you have a background in Programming. If you are new to programming, definately start with Learning Perl.

Cheers,

Thanks guys! I definitely don't have a programming background--well, unless you count the one semester of college that I was forced to learn Pascal to produce accounting spreadsheets off of a mainframe (is that even a programming language anymore???). I'll check out Learning Perl and go from there!
