What is your favorite Form Processing script. I've used BigNoseBird.com (BNBForm) and it's okay but I want to know what all the Perl/CGI zen-masters here at Gossomer-Threads use.

Well I'm far from a perl master but writing your own is always the best way. You can control all the features/functions. It is the only way IMHO.

Well, I'd love to have the skill to write my own but, alas, I am not even a PERL waterboy yet.
I am afraid I'm going to have to use someone else's pre-written Form Processing Script.
So, if I HAVE to use a ready made script, which one should I use?

That's incredibly gracious of you to offer to write a script. I've done a little hunting around since I've posted and found http://soupermail.sourceforge.net.
Before you go to all the trouble to write a script, I think this one looks okay. If you have a chance, will you take a look and let me know what you think.
Also, anyone else reading this thread, I'd like to know what you think of SouperMail or any other script

I've never used it before but it looks quite good to me for a free script. Seems to have quite a few features. You could probably find some good ones at:

I used a few in there that worked alright before I learned to write my own. But now, I agree with Paul...it's alot better when you write yourself. In fact, my first Perl book I bought had a script in there as an example that I used for awhile too. Go get yourself a nice $25.00 Perl book and kill 2 birds with one stone. :)

I appriciate the PERL advice. I am trying to learning it but I need to start handling forms before I'll be good enough. So, I will try to kill two birds with one stone by continuing to work on my programming and hacking scripts. But unfortunaly I have three birds that need to be killed.
