Virtual Domains?
Hey guys!

Have any one ever seen a software for Win95/98 or a CGI script, that would allow to run more that one domain on a single machine?

Thank you! ………

Pasha

I thought the Apache web server would allow that. From the Apache documentation for Version 1.3:

Quote:
Apache was one of the first servers to support IP-based virtual hosts right out of the box. Versions 1.1 and later of Apache support both, IP-based and name-based virtual hosts (vhosts). The latter variant of virtual hosts is sometimes also called host-based or
non-IP virtual hosts.

I hope this helps.

Pasha,

Try the redirection scripts in http://www.cgi-resources.com

There are a couple scripts. Though I tried to install them they would not work for me. May be the reason is because my host has already installed a redirection script and I was using it to redirect a couple of urls. However, they were charging me a monthly fee. But later I found that if I can change the script myself and set it up, they would not chare me. So I did.
