I'm looking for a good text editor and I was hoping someone around here could recommend a good one. I can't keep working with the standard text editors that come with Windows (they're driving me crazy). I had been using a shareware text editor, but the guy that wrote it has decided to provide support when he feels like it even though I took the time to register.

Anyway... all I want is a good text editor. I'm not picky about features as long as I can choose the display font. I would prefer a true text editor, not a HTML editor that can also edit text.

Any suggestions???

I just wanted to drop back in and say thanks for the suggestions. I also wanted to leave the URL for a text editor that a co-worker showed me. This editor blows away anything else that is out there and costs less than a number of text editors that I've seen shrink-wrapped in a box at a software store. It is called the GWD text editor and it can be found at http://www.iridis.com/gwd/ . It's only $20, so if you're looking for a text editor, this is the one you want!
