I am running a site hosted by virtualave (www.virtualave.net) and need to use the LWP module both for links and other things. I have contacted the staff at virtualave on numerous occasions only to receive a pre-written message about that they don’t give cgi support. Well I have a copy of LWP but I don’t have telnet access to run a make on it. I only have ftp, Can someone tell me a way to get LWP installed with just FTP? thanks I am new to modules as you can probably tell :]

I had Links installed on http://find.virtualave.net/ some few months ago. And I also had problems with LWP. When I contacted the tech-support, they said that they don't have it installed, but they promissed to do some upgrades including LWP.
... it looks like they didn't upgrade it.

Anyway, it's not installed.

I just emailed them asking when they plan to do these upgrades. If anyone can think of a way for us to install through ftp or something we would be very appreciative.
