I need a script to handle "Job Classified Ads" a specialized Monster.com type thing.

I can't write my own. (I am not the PERL and CGI expert that you fine folks are).

So, I need a recommendation.

I like the look of this one:

But, I am wondering if you know of a better one. Of course cheaper or free is even better.

I purchased their script several years ago, but decided after a short amount of time that it wasn't really all that great a script.

Did you check http://cgi.resourceindex.com/ for other scripts?

You are right, the scripts there do seem to be a little weak in this area.

I am afraid http://www.jobvertise.com won't work because I am developing a job listing resource for a very small, tightly niched market. I am going to have to have something customized.

The problem is I don't have much skill. I got Links 2.0 up and running and did several of the most popular mods to it, but that is about as far as my knowledge goes.

That is one of the reasons I don't want to "reinvent the wheel" if someone has done a great script already.

ANYONE: What other classified ads scripts are out there that are worth having?

Since everyone here writes their own code so well (present writer [Curt] excluded ) I know asking for a recommendation of another script is kind-a like asking Microsoft to recommend another browser besides Internet Explorer.

But, I also know that you folks know good code when you see it so you are in the very best position to recommend a good (passable?) script.

So, can anyone point me to a decent script? Please.
