How do i edit the .pl files?
Dear CGI guys,


I am a newbie in the CGI and Perl. How do i edit the *.pl files? The *.pl files i owned looks like just consists of the disordered text, it seems like a compiled file, not a plain text. May anybody help me, please?

It might be that you downloaded your CGI script(s) in binary mode.
I edit my CGI scripts in EditPad: http://www.jgsoft.com/ . EditPad can convert your CGIs back to ASCII mode so you can edit them.
