Hi can anyone help me with this or suggets a way of doing this:
I am new to perl.
This is for a project to help children learn sentence structure.

I write a template short story.
I then want to identify and extract all the nouns verbs and adjectives from this and replace them with a blank space like this____.
I then want to print this back to the child with the blank spaces replacing all the nouns verbs and adjectives.
As the child reads it, when they scroll over the blank space, a litlle pop up box appears with other words that can fit the space, if they do not know what a nouns or verb or adjective is.
Can anybody suggest a way of doing this using perl?
