*.pl and *.cgi extentions

*.pl and *.cgi extentions
Webjump says that it would only accept scripts with the *.pl extention for security reasons. Does any one have a suggestion on how to get DB.CGI to work in this type of enviroment?

heh heh heh.

Well, Mark's 100% right, there ain't no difference between running a script as .pl and .cgi. *waiting for Alex to pop in and tell me different* Smile They're probably just trying to restrict people.

So while that's the right answer, if you're going to stay with them, running db.cgi as db.pl is easy-peasy, just change it to .pl and make sure you change the reference in default.cfg too (or whatever your database is called).

And tell Webjump that they're talking out of their bottoms too! Smile

Honestly, I would suggest moving from Webjump. .pl has no security advantage over .cgi, and if they tell you otherwise, they are most likely morons, and you shouldn't host with them

Besides Webjump has an annoying window thing that you cant get rid of. You should try Hypermart.net Exept they dont allow banner exchnages for some reason.
