XP install key decoded from the DigitalProductId key
Hello all, MS has now hidden from eyes the install key used to

install XP Home and Pro.

Piracy is not an issue here, I just find that people who bring me a PC and have a virus or other hazard

often cannot find or promptly give me their install key.

So I looked for some code on the web.

I found it and changed it from c++ dos to c++ gui.

It is beta code and does not do any error checking at all.

Have a try and see if it works for any XP home or Pro version.

Thanks

Cornball

Hello Source code for the C++ Dos code web found

and my pathetic Borland Builder c++ code is available

on request // demand // gun point // or if you are a cute gurl !

Send private request and I will zip up all of microsoft / borland and email it to you.

thanks

PS I did not add any adware or spyware or any of the pathetic viruses or worms

seen on the internet today.

But do check this exe for those "As it left my HD free of them", after that i did not do it. (-:

Okay I found out that Borland C++ is not standalone for exe's

So I have a 1.49 MB file called da.zip at http://members.shaw.ca/jennytarte/da.zip

It is the Install shield for Borland C++ V 3 .

So it will install and uninstall as per this Install shield program.

Help is at : http://members.shaw.ca/...tarte/xp_key_RTF.zip

All is subject to the right hand side of your brain and not the left.

I will keep working on the Delphi [ pascal ] code as C++ lib's as a requirement suck.

I have to find some code for c++ binary operators not used in pascal.

Thanks
