XP/VPN able to connect, unable to access any network resources
Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts or experience about this. I'm trying to establish a VPN connection from home so that I can log into my office network. The VPN server is running XP Pro and the client is running XP Home. I've gotten as far as successfully establishing the connection, but then I'm unable to access any network resources (e.g. shared files and folders). They don't show up under "My Network Places" and they're unrecognized when I try to manually enter a location under "Map Network Drive". I've been Googling this all day and I've found about a million tutorials showing you how to set up the connection, but nothing that indicates how to actually make it useful by accessing network resources...

Any thoughts? Many thanks for any help you can provide.

Can’t access remote resources over XP VPN host

XP as VPN host is peer to peer VPN. You should use a server as VPN server. Otherwise, you need to make the XP as a router that is not recommended.
