Hi,
I'm looking for a perl private messaging script that can be used by students (registered users) to contact their teacher (admin user). I want all of the features of a web based mail system like folder system, attachments, spell check, etc. with the exception that everything will be for internal use (e.g Mail cannot be sent outside the system. Like the private message system built into this forum and other GT products).
I looked at Gossamer Mail but it is probably an over kill for what I want and I don't think I can limit the users to only be able to send messages to their teacher.
Can anyone recommend a good (Perl/MySQL) internal messaging system script or should I have it made to order?

How about the phprojects? It is not with perl at all but PHP. It has some features that you need.

Yes, that's correct. I don't know if there is a similar solution in Perl.

I would be also interested in a good Private Message System, using Perl/MySQL.

GForum already has a PMS, but it should know more, to be good.

It would be good to have a Private Message System plugin for GCommunity.
This could be a really nice co-solution.

I imagine a PM system, which can be used as Community plugin separately,
but which can be also used integrated into GMail system, too.

I don't know GMail tough, so I don't know its features & intergation possibilities either.
