I experienced this a while back but a friend is stuck now: Outlook is up but no Send/Receive button is apparent and there is no way to get it to appear. I'm faily proficient with Outlook, but this one has me stumped. Seems that it would just be there, considering Outlook is in large part about sending and receiving email, but no go. Someone please help!

Try right-clicking on the menu bar and selecting Customize... Click over to the Toolbars tab and reset the tools bars. I think you want the Standard tool bar. Other than that, I can't help ya.
