Oracle bought InnoDB which is a close partner of MySQL, that company having used InnoDB as a storage architecture for years.

Does it mean trouble for Mysql in years ahead?

Possibly in the future but it seems safe for now...

One could see it as a tactical mistake on MySQL AB part. All this could be happening because of SAP's involvement with MySQL...
