Java and Oracle Installation
Hi All

I have been wanting to try out the Compiere system - http://www.compiere.org - but it requires java and oracle.

I happen to have a small test linux box that I use. Is it difficult (or even risky) to install java and oracle? Is there some sort of demo license that can be gotten for oracle?

There is no demo of the Compiere system. So, I'm trying to figure out how to view it's features and stuff.

Also, Compiere is being ported to PostgreSQL, but it's got a ways to go.

Thanks very much. Smile

You can download an oracle demo here....

It's pretty big so I hope you have a fast modem :)
