Man.. it *really* gets on my nerves when I find a host like this. They are running Perl v 5.02 for crying out load! No Perl scripts work on their server either, not even a 500 IS error! Their supports answer is 'sorry we don't support 3rd party scripts', and the ironic thing is, that the 'free' scripts they offer (counters etc), and not even hosted on your domain, but on a remote server!

I feel like going to their datacenter (most likely a garage) and unplugging all their servers! They don't even deserve to be on the internet
