Games for a children's web site

I am working on a web site for children. I am looking for a place to get free or shareware games to put on the site. I'd like to have some Java games, Flash and Shockwave.

Does anyone know of a resource that has lots of these listed. What I'd like to find is a site lik CGI-Resource is for Perl, but for games instead. Does that make sense?

CGI Resources does list some game scripts, along with www.hotscripts.com.

I'm just looking for anything I can put on my site to enhance the fun for the kids.

I usually can figure out how to cut and paste code Blush

Any way, if anyone does have information please don't let my ignorance of Java vs. Javascript stop you.

Try http://www.shockwave.com/sw/home/

Email the author of some of the games, to see if you can get hold of the .swf files,m so you can put them on your site. I did this when I was running youradds.com, and they were quite happy to let me use them, as long as I gave a link back Smile

I've just started experimenting with flash. If I come up with anything remotely interesting I'll post it :)

Due to my perl experience I have a better time with actionscript than I do with the animation side of things so I could probably come up with something that works but it would look crap Wink
