Can't access my website... bad routers somewhere??
I haven't been able to access my website or email for about a week. A trace route on my domain brings up the following:

Code:
1 10.95.240.1 (10.95.240.1) 9.527 ms 7.371 ms 8.568 ms
2 24.197.3.42 (24.197.3.42) 7.829 ms 8.746 ms 10.426 ms
3 12.118.209.249 (12.118.209.249) 16.192 ms 17.64 ms 16.84 ms
4 gbr5-p56.wswdc.ip.att.net (12.123.194.226) 100.616 ms 114.356 ms 97.349 ms
5 tbr1-p013301.wswdc.ip.att.net (12.122.11.169) 110.762 ms 103.32 ms 128.948 ms
6 tbr1-cl4.sl9mo.ip.att.net (12.122.10.30) 107.125 ms 105.516 ms 100.504 ms
7 tbr1-cl2.sffca.ip.att.net (12.122.10.42) 103.833 ms 102.629 ms 103.253 ms
8 tbr1-cl1.st6wa.ip.att.net (12.122.12.114) 105.545 ms 106.508 ms 105.377 ms
9 gar1-p360.stwwa.ip.att.net (12.123.203.169) 106.917 ms 105.906 ms 108.86 ms

11 OC48-POS6-0.van-dis-a.peer1.net (216.187.88.213) 109.437 ms 111.065 ms 110.7 ms
12 216.187.88.74 (216.187.88.74) 106.014 ms 106.076 ms 104.622 ms

The first few hops are okay, then the path hits att.net in DC where it's really laggy, all the way through the last router that responds in Vancouver.

I'm unable to get a successful ping either. I do get a response with nslookup, however, though I don't know if it means anything:
Code:
Server: dhcp-347-55.rdfr.va.charter.net
Address: 192.168.10.1

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: www.perlmad.net
Address: 64.69.64.48

I live in Radford, Virginia, btw. If anyone could try a traceroute/ping from other locations I'd really appreciate it.

For what it's worth:

1 [ 24.82.240.1] 24.82.240.1 18 ms
2 [ 64.59.158.163] rd1wh-ge4-1-2.vc.shawcable.net 47 ms
3 [ 66.163.69.34] rc1wh-pos15-0.vc.shawcable.net 17 ms
4 [ 206.223.127.1] PIX-dis-1-gw.peer1.net 18 ms
5 [ 216.187.88.74] 216.187.88.74 18 ms
6. *
7. *

Same result, fewer hops.

64.69.64.48 was a Gossamer Host IP. Were you hosting with us? We've been moving to a new datacenter the past 2 weeks. You should have gotten an e-mail about it. n/m, from what I can tell, you're getting hosting through one of our clients and unfortunately, they didn't let you know about that change. The new IP for that machine is 209.139.239.48 - update your dns accordingly, and it should work again.

ahh, thanks, I'll try that. I wasn't sure if I should have opened a support ticket or what not since I'm not hosted directly through you. (Though I would have certainly emailed Carsten about it had I had the option to...)

[edit]
Yep, that fixed it. Thanks again!
