Does anyone else have loads of hits in their logs from wanadoo.fr?

I had to block them on my old server.

The actual website looks quite cool even though it's french but I don't see why they are hitting so many sites.

Wanadoo is a French ISP, why would you like to block all of their customers?

I assumed it was a dodgy company due to the number of hits.

The referer is always just "wanadoo.fr" and that is quite rare for an ISP, especially the larger ones.

If it is an ISP then of course I don't want to block it.

Wanadoo is THE largest French ISP, the France Telecom (like BT) Internet branch. So I'm pretty sure you don't want to block them completely.

That they might suck in how they list their possible spammers is another matter. Why not just send of a general complaint and ask if they can provide better information so others don't think their users are spammers. They normally do respond in English if you write in English.
