I'm not really sure what point you are making. I think most people realise that captures and deaths are the result of warfare.

The thing is, do you see us parading all the hundreds of POW's on TV? Its pathetic. Aparantly, its also againt the rules of war...or so I heard on the radio.

They are just trying scare tactics....but its not gonna work, cos we all know the problems that war brings, including casulties, deaths, and enemy capturing.

Just my opinion :)

I don't know many people who can predict the future. I expect if Donald Rumsfeld could then that picture would have never been taken =)

Yep, somehow I don't think he has that one on his wall in the Pentagon.

But nobody in Europe seems to want to talk about France & Saddam, or Russia & Saddam. It's only the Americans (when the Iraqis were fighting the Iranians), who somehow had anything to do with Iraq.

At least the US stopped, re-evaluated and got back onto the right side of the issue. The French and Russians kept up their close friendships.

Well the PM is coming over later this week, I suspect it's not so they can play slap & tickle.
