MSIE: I see CyberBrowse.com homepage

Netscape: I see KatKam.com home page - which up until today, I saw also with MSIE

And with only MSIE, I get alot of the following (but not Netscape when I try same URL) Bad Gateway The following error occurred:

[code=DNS_HOST_NOT_FOUND] The host name was not found during the DNS lookup. Contact your system administrator if the problem is not found by retrying the URL.

But if I go back minutes later, I can get page with MSIE. Seems to be weird problem with MSIE that I cannot diagnose.

Update: no problems with MSIE if I omit the www portion in the URL. For example, http://katkam.ca/ works okay.

Sounds to me like a possible browser hijack or spyware that may have been installed in your computer.

I'd recommend running (and downloading) if you haven't already:

1) Spybot Search and Destroy -

http://www.safer-networking.org/

(site currently under high activity due to an update I believe)

- OR -

2) AdAware

http://www.lavasoftusa.com/

3) HijackThis -

http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/

In terms of #3, I'd run the scan, and if you can't figure out some of the nasties to delete, feel free to post your log results in this thread.
