Sun is giving away Solaris 10 for free.

I installed from a bootable DVD disk.

Does any one know of any good " Sun Solaris Newbie guides " as it is not user friendly to fix an IP or use dhcp ?

I am stuck with a NC100 10/100 adapter that seems to only use 127.0.0.1

and goes into maintenance mode with dhcp enabled, I have no Solaris driver for this card.

I own a legit copy of Solaris 8 and I remember it only liked 10 adapter cards and not 10/100 cards.

Found a site that has 1 to 95 images of the installation screen captures.

My install did not follow these images, I guess my network card is not supported, as I was not presented with the Network screens.

Time to buy another adapter card just for Solaris as I do not like the way Windows is going with code name LongHorn.
