Keep alt down and type the numbers sequentially. If you go to windows and charmap, you can see all the characters you have access to. (click on the char to see it's alt-number)
It's an old dos trick. (we used to make directories that were ALT-255 since it would produce a blank character... and very few people knew how to access them from the prompt)
