yogi was talking about Galeon. I myself prefer Galeon's GUI over Mozilla's because it's much more lightweight, and I like the extra features it provides. It might not be as pretty Mozilla's skinned GUI, but I can put up with that.
No! They aren't. And it's for this precise attitude that people don't give Mozilla a chance. I hate Netscape (*as it is today*) - I agree with all you guys when you say that is 'sucks'.
Mmm sure they are. Netscape 6 is created from Mozilla's source code.
The only difference is the fact that mozilla is an organization and Netscape is a company. What makes the product different is the fact that Netscape add features to the code such as plugins and other non-open-source enhancements.
It's entirely different. They are both based on the Gecko engine, yes. They both share a few core developers, yes. They both recieve funding from Netscape Communications, yes. That's where the similarity ends.
Netscape Communicator/Navigator is one of two major web browsers currently being used on the World-Wide-Web, made by Netscape Communications. The other being Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
Because they are both using 'skins'. You can change the look of the browser with two mouse clicks. Just hit 'View => Apply Theme' and you can even get it to look exactly like IE if you wanted to!
