The key is CLICK and MORTAR, not just CLICK and not just BRICK AND MORTAR. The most successful merchants out there are ones with an online and offline presence, of course, Amazon has capitalized on establishing great partnerships between off and on line merchants.

I agree...but I think it comes down to cost. Ordering online needs no employee standing at a checkout taking orders which can potentially save a business hundreds of thousands of dollars and so they pass on the benefit to the consumer.
